The inaugural ceremony of the AIDCCSP-2024 (Artificial Intelligence, Device computing, communication and signal processing) was held the Mini Auditorium of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, industry professionals, researchers and faculty members, marking the beginning of an insightful academic and technical journey.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Ashok Kumar, Organizing Chairman, who extended a cordial greeting to the guests, participants, and industry representatives present at the event.
Prof. H.M. Suryawanshi, Director of NIT Hamirpur, served as the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his address, he emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaborations and advancements in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Device computing, communication and signal processing , while also recognizing the vital role of institutions like NIT Hamirpur in shaping the future of technological innovations.
Dr. Archana Santosh Nanoty, Registrar of NIT Hamirpur, was the Guest of Honor at the ceremony. She spoke on the significance of conducting such conferences to bridge the gap between academia, research, and industry. Dr. Nanoty encouraged participants to leverage this platform for valuable exchanges of ideas and knowledge.
Prof. Anoop Kumar, Dean Faculty Welfare, highlighted the importance of building strong foundational concepts in technology before advancing towards new innovations. Dr. Rakesh Sharma and Dr. Sandeep Kumar Singh, the Organizing Secretaries, provided insight into the conference themes and the structure of the event. Following the inaugural addresses, Dr. Ashwani Rana, Head of the Department, presented an overview of the department’s achievements and its societal responsibilities, stressing the department’s commitment to innovation and social impact.
The inaugural session concluded with a keynote address by Mr. Ravinder Singh Zandu, Head of Digital Systems, Civil Services UK, who delivered an inspiring talk on “Emerging Intelligent Technologies.” His speech resonated with the conference theme and provided a thought-provoking perspective on the role of emerging technologies in shaping the future of various industries.
The event continued with physical paper presentation sessions, held in the Mini Auditorium, where participants presented their research on cutting-edge technologies in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computational Systems.
